A story from London in late summer:

One of my favourite things to do in London is to take a daily walk through Regents Park and sometimes pop into local patisseries for a sweet treat. Simple pleasures!

It’s nice to start the day with morning freshness and golden light dancing in the leaves. Sometimes I get a little lost on my walks.. but in order to discover a new path…you have to first lose your way. The daily exercise reminds me to eat healthy, sleep well, breathe deeply, and enjoy life. It’s my little sanctuary in this busy city.

Coming from a bush tropical landscape in Brisbane, the gardens in London always seem so magical to me. Like a “secret garden” or “wind in the willows” from a childhood fairytale or storybook. Hydrangeas always remind me of my childhood in New Zealand as they used to grow in a lovely shade of powder blue and sea green outside the window of our family home…a time when all my memories seem to glow in a soft light.
